Grade 10–12 Mathematics Educator (On-site)

Location: Paarl, Western Cape
Type: Full-time, on-site | Start: January 2026 (2026 academic year)

Role Description
Deliver Grade 10–12 CAPS Mathematics classes using our provided lesson plans, resources, and assessments. Focus on execution and outcomes: teach clearly, run focused practice, mark promptly, track results, and get learners test, prelim, and final-exam ready. This is an on-site role in Paarl with early daytime hours generally free; core teaching blocks run in the afternoons/early evenings.
Limited Saturday sessions may be required in exam seasons. You will also mark assessments and provide timely feedback to learners and parents.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver excellent, enthusiastic, and lively Mathematics lessons for Grades 10–12.
Mark class tests, mock exams, and exam-style papers.
Provide clear, timely feedback to learners and parents.
Prepare learners for controlled tests, prelims, and finals with exam techniques and structured revision.
Maintain strong classroom culture, routines, and behaviour standards.
Collaborate on term plans, workshops, and academic events.
Use digital tools (e.g., Google Workspace) to support instruction and reporting.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, BEd (FET) or BSc/BS with PGCE.
Proven experience teaching CAPS Grade 10–12 Mathematics.
Excellent communication, board work/presentation, and classroom management.
Passion for teaching, mentoring, and achieving measurable learner gains.
Bilingual (English/Afrikaans).

Advantageous
Experience marking Grade 12 exam papers or internal moderation.
Comfort with Google Classroom.
Willingness to teach selected Saturdays during peak periods.
